train

more than ten intercity trains link the paris st lazare and caen train stations. you can also reach caen via the tours–le mans–caen line. for more information, go to www.voyages-sncf.com.

lower normandy’s regional ter trains also link the major cities in the region, including cherbourg, saint-lô, coutances, lisieux, alençon and argentan. for more information, go to www.ter-sncf.com.

train stations

caen : located in the city centre, caen's train station is very close to 4 of the competition venues (d'ornano stadium, zenith, prairie racecourse, and parc des expositions). regular direct trains connect caen to paris and major cities in normandy.

argentan (le pin national stud) : argentan's train station is located about 20 minutes from le pin national stud (eventing). regular shuttles will take you from the station to the competition venue.

sartilly (bay of mont saint michel): sartilly is located near granville's and avranches' train stations. regular shuttles will take you to the endurance venue from both train stations.

deauville: deauville's train station is only 5 minutes away from the venue where the polo exhibition will take place on 6 september 2014.

saint lô : st lô's train station is located just minutes from the haras de st lô stud where the horse-ball exhibition tournament will be held from 27 to 31 august 2014.

how to book your train tickets?

to book your train ticket, please log onto the sncf's website http://www.voyages-sncf.co.uk/

for all the people who already have tickets to the test of cross saturday, august 30, direct trains (45 minutes) will be implemented between caen and argentan, with shuttle transportation provided between argentan station and the national stud of pin http://www.ter-sncf.com/. these shuttles do not require reservations, but are exclusively reserved for people who bought a ticket on the two special trains. special rates: 12 € / pers ar (ar € 6 for children) are available exclusively on the online store right here.
